Counseling with Kele has helped in my marriage and personal growth in ways that are easy to talk about. Kele challenges you, pushes you and makes you do the hard things you’ve been closed off to confronting. Working with Kele has allowed me to show up as a better mother, better wife, better friend, better Christian, but mostly she is helping me to show up for myself. We so often try to ignore our own needs and not focus on the work that we need to do to better ourselves. This past year with Kele I’ve learned a lot about why I am the way I am and how that impacts others around me and the way I view the world. Having someone guide you through trauma, teach you how to show up for yourself, and tell you when you need to do better is hard to come by. Kele can be brutally honest, but in the kindest, most vulnerable way possible. She doesn’t want you to show up for her, she wants you to show up to grow towards the person Jesus is calling you to be. My husband also finds our sessions with Kele so impactful and has met with her individually. Our marriage wouldn’t be in the place it is today without the guidance of Kele. Kele has been such a gift to me during some of the hardest months of my life. She sat with me patiently and compassionately as I processed hard realities, listened for what God was saying, and discerned how to move forward with wisdom and peace.
