Marriage Can Be Hard, But…
Maybe you never thought you’d be going through this, but rest assured: I can help you work through what’s happening. Every marriage goes through periods of struggle. The question isn’t if you’ll struggle in your marriage, the question is how you will go through the struggle. I want to help you not only get through what you’re going through, but actually GROW through and become stronger in response to what you’re going through. I can show you how.
Whether you need help with resolving some conflict or recovering from infidelity, I want to walk you through healing and change. Together, we’ll look to God’s Word to help you understand God’s blueprint for marriage in every area, including communication, conflict resolution, roles, forgiveness, expectations, and even sex!
Regardless of where you are, what you’ve been through, or what your beliefs about marriage are, there is HOPE!
I look forward to helping couples struggling in their marriage find hope through the Word of God and explore a proven plan for intimacy based on Biblical truth.
So often, our hurts, hang-ups, and struggles become dormant in our hearts as we pursue careers and family. But they inevitably come to the surface over time in marriage and parenting. While this can be extremely difficult, it is ultimately a good thing. God desires to bring these elements of our lives out into the open for intimacy with Himself and our marriage.
This has been the case in my marriage, and we continue to experience God’s grace and truth through the Bible and our church community. What we are learning, and I hope to communicate in counseling, is that Christ is sufficient to meet our deepest needs. More importantly, only Christ, and nothing else, can be sufficient.
I live in Conroe with my wife of eleven years, Rachel, and our two children, Zeke and Blythe, where we attend Church Project North County. In addition to being a counselor and financial coach with Marriage Revolution, I am a professional trombonist and trombone teacher serving as Lecturer of Trombone at Sam Houston State University and a member of the Austin Symphony Orchestra.Â
I hold music degrees from Texas Tech University and Southern Methodist University. Between those degrees, I completed a Certificate of Graduate Studies during two years at Dallas Theological Seminary. I received Biblical counseling training through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and The Association Of Biblical Counselors (ABC).
Whether you’re looking for a tune up or praying for a miracle, I can help. I can help with communication, conflict resolution, forgiveness, expectations, roles, anger, intimacy issues, and affair recovery.
The most important preparation you can make for your life together is internal. I want to help prepare your heart for your marriage and help you understand God’s purpose and plan for it.
Are there a lack of Biblical counselors in your area? Online counseling is economical, convenient, and available in the comfort of your own home.
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, or overall motivation / direction? I’d like to help you navigate this difficult season so you can fulfill God’s purposes for your life.
I look forward to helping anyone who struggles with financial difficulties and choices, especially within marriage, find hope through the Word of God and explore a proven plan for success based on Biblical truth.
