Hans has a powerful testimony of God’s ability to revolutionize a dead marriage. After being married for only 2 years he and his wife were bitterly separated and considering divorce.
After 6 months of separation, almost a year of counseling, and lots of prayer from family and friends, God brought their marriage and family back together in 1997. Their passion for sharing God’s blueprint for marriage has been growing ever since.
Hans and his wife Star were on staff with FamilyLife in Little Rock, AR from 2006 and 2010 and then came home to The Woodlands in 2010 to start Marriage Revolution – a Biblical counseling ministry to hurting couples. Hans and Star speak at marriage conferences around the country for Marriage Revolution and FamilyLife.
Hans and Star have been married since 1994 and have 6 kids (3 boys and 3 girls).
Hans has received a majority of his counseling training through CCEF (Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation) and ABC (Association of Biblical Counselors).
