“I am happy to extend a heartfelt thank you to the donors who have contributed to God’s ministry at Marriage Revolution. I have received individual counseling and it has impacted my life powerfully.
My story began in a valley like most people. I struggled through some extremely traumatic experiences years ago that left me very broken physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
God has walked with me for many years providing healing along the way. Then, he brought me here to the Woodlands in 2017 as the home that He provided for me.
Since then I have been in a season of spiritual healing and God has used the counselors at Marriage Revolution to help me break free from mental bondage that held me captive for a very long time.
My freedom wouldn’t have happened if the donors hadn’t helped me to see the counselor. I want to thank all of them for having a beautiful heart to help others and also for their generosity in giving to those in need. I am a changed person because they care and believe in doing the Lord’s work. Thank you so much for your help!

“I am thankful this year for the sessions I had with Heather Rule. I came to her at a time when I needed spiritual guidance while I was at a very low moment during the ice storm of 2021. I was months away from getting married to my now husband and we had just lost our home to water damage. I was at odds with my partner and myself. Unsure if we could even afford to get married, or where we could even live. Events had made life quicksand under my feet. Heather heard me, prayed with me, directed me back to all my blessings, and reminded me to show grace to those we love.

“Thank you, so much, to the scholarship providers for Marriage Revolution! Your generosity has blessed me more than you can imagine. About 6 years ago my husband’s kidneys failed, he was put on dialysis, and he lost his job. For the next few years I went through the motions of just keeping my head above water as I navigated, well, everything. I started some counseling that was helping, but then I lost my insurance, and the counseling as well. After a bit, I found Marriage Revolution and it has been so good for me. I have walked through a lot, and still have a lot ahead of me, but I know God has it all. One day perhaps my husband will find his way to counseling as well, but until then, I am beyond blessed to be able to have Godly counsel as I continue this journey.

“Thank you so much for the invaluable opportunity to receive counseling! I am a preacher’s wife and a foster mom. I love both of those roles but the weight of those roles can get very heavy at times. It is such a huge relief to have a place to receive Christian counseling at a price our family can afford with this scholarship. “Thank you so much for providing counseling scholarships for people like me! I started counseling just a few months ago because I hit a brick wall of hopelessness and despair. I found myself not only at a loss as to how to handle the growing issues between myself and my husband, but I was in such a stressed and dark place that I was constantly feeling angry, bitter, and resentful. I really did not like the person that I had become and felt sure that I was not bringing glory to God in my relationships with my husband or kids.
Without your help, I would have had to stop counseling after just a few sessions. I have extremely limited resources and was faces with some unexpected expenses that made it impossible for me to pay bills and attend counseling. Through your generous gift, I have been able to continue counseling and find hope in the help I receive there. While I pray that God will eventually bring healing to my marriage, I find hope in the reminders of who God is and who He has called me to be as a follower of Jesus Christ. It has brought me great peace and comfort to see that God is still there, that he sees me and my situation, and that he grieves with me over the effects of sin on my marriage. I am also growing to see the strength and courage that God can lend me to address the destructive sin in my marriage and family.
