I want to help you not only get through what you’re going through, but actually GROW through and become stronger in response to what you’re going through. I can show you how.

I spent much of my young adult life believing God was mad at me. I figured I had made too many mistakes and committed too many sins. I tried to fill my heart with many other things and then one day, I met a man that I felt sure would be the one to fill my heart and love me unconditionally forever. So I married him…
It didn’t take long for me to realize that marriage did not bring me the happiness I thought it would, and I was deeply disappointed. My husband was not the savior I needed, nor was I his. The last 16 years of our marriage is a story of God’s never-failing love that has changed – not only our marriage – but also our hearts.
I cannot keep God’s beautiful work to myself. I am part of the Marriage Revolution team so that I can help others see the beauty that God has planned for their life and marriage.
My goal as a Biblical Marriage Counselor is to communicate faithfully this truth: No one is beyond the reach of God’s love and no marriage is beyond hope.
My husband, Matt, and I have four daughters whom I have the privilege to educate at home (check out my blog on being a homeschooling mom at Heatherule.com). Matt is currently the teaching pastor at Church Project North County in Conroe, Texas where I also serve as a volunteer to disciple women both in the church and in our community.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and have continued my counseling training through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).
